Hello Oxbow residents,
My name is David, and I’m delighted to introduce myself as your new Community Manager here at Oxbow Salford. With 26 years of experience managing residential buildings across Manchester, Salford, and the wider North West, I bring a deep passion for maintaining and enhancing the places people call home.
For me, building management is about more than just bricks and mortar; it’s about creating a community where people feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I take great pride in ensuring that our buildings are not only well-maintained but also meet the highest standards in health and safety compliance. But more than anything, I want to make sure that your experience as a resident is a great one. Whether that’s through improving communication, organising community events, or making small changes that make a big difference to your everyday life, I’m always open to ideas on how we can enhance life at Oxbow.
A little about me outside of work—I’m a lifelong supporter of the best football team in Manchester (I’ll let you guess which one… okay, it’s Manchester City!). I love spending matchdays at the Etihad with my two sons, sharing our passion for the game. But before football took over my weekends, I spent my younger years playing rugby, even representing England from the age of 16 to 19. It was an incredible experience playing in stadiums across Europe, and while my rugby boots are well and truly hung up, I still have a deep appreciation for the sport.
When I’m not cheering on City or reminiscing about my rugby days, I love to hit the open road in my campervan. It’s my home away from home, especially in the summer months when I escape to the beautiful South West coast of Cornwall. There’s nothing quite like waking up by the sea and enjoying the great outdoors!
